We at givezooks! are dedicated to protecting your privacy and handling any personal information we obtain from you with care and respect. This privacy statement, effective October 22, 2008, is designed to answer your questions regarding our privacy policies and principles.

First and foremost, givezooks! would like to say to all of our guests that we recognize the need to provide additional privacy protections when supporters make a donation to a charitable organization. In keeping with this principle, givezooks! does not sell, rent, lease, or share any personal information about charitable organizations’ donors with third parties. Below, we explain our privacy protections for all of our visitors, donors, members and guests.

What Information Do We Collect and Why?

Anonymous User Information

We use a feature of Internet web browsers called "cookies." Cookies are generated by web servers and stored on your hard drive when you visit practically any website on the Internet. Donor Security

For our registered members who are charitable organizations, we will not share, sell, or in any way distribute the information you are entering or capturing within the site about your donors.

For our registered members who are supporters, we will not share, sell or in any way distribute your donation information and browsing history within givezooks! to any organization beyond the charitable organization to whom you are making your donation.

Address Book Security

For all registered members, we will not share, sell, or in any way distribute the contact information you are entering or capturing within your givezooks! address book. We protect individual member’s unique address books even from those charitable organizations that are registered members of givezooks! to whose fundraiser the individual member is supporting.

With Whom Do We Share Information and What Do We Share?

Personal Information

If you order any services that require the payment of a fee, we transmit your credit card data to our merchant services provider for processing. If we ever encounter a problem with your payments, we may review the information with you, our merchant services provider, and our bank to resolve the issue.

Aggregated General Information

We may share aggregated general information about our site with our corporate partners or others. Examples of this include the number of users who searched for "Classic Cars", the daily number of unique visitors, how many users clicked on a particular advertisement and how many users were using a certain Internet service provider. Aggregated data does not contain any personally identifiable information that could be used to contact or identify you.
